A few days before prom, use a light shampoo that cleanses the hair without weighing it down. Skip any additional products, as they can create a slippery canvas that will affect how your hair holds. A fresh, clean base will help us create a style that actually stays put!

- Changing your color right before: If you want a fresh color, do it at least a week before. That gives it time to settle and shine without affecting the texture.
