Kerastase Fusio-Dose: The Five Minute In-Salon Treatment

There is a moment at the shampoo bowl, about four minutes in, when a guest goes quiet and then says some version of what did you just put on my hair. That is Fusio-Dose. It takes five minutes, it is mixed for your hair specifically, and it is the single most noticeable thing we can do to hair without changing its colour or its length.

What Fusio-Dose actually is

That last point is the whole idea. Most treatments are a compromise between potency and shelf life. Anything that has to survive eighteen months in a bottle has to be formulated to stay stable, and stability and reactivity pull in opposite directions. Mixing at the point of use removes that compromise.

The actives themselves are named, which matters. What happens in the chair

1. Your stylist reads your hair wet. Porosity, where it is breaking, how the ends behave compared to the mid lengths. This is a thirty second assessment that decides everything after it.
2. The mix is made in front of you. Concentre and Booster combined at the bowl. You will hear it activate.
3. It is applied and worked through. Mid lengths and ends first, because that is where the need is, then wherever else your hair asks for it.
4. Five minutes. No heat lamp, no long process, no separate appointment.
5. Rinse and feel it. The difference is immediate and tactile, which is unusual. Most hair care asks you to wait and trust it.

Why it lands harder here than it would elsewhere
